About the Role: Customer Care Specialist II

In this critical role, you will be the face and voice of blithequark, interacting with our customers via phone, email, and chat to resolve their inquiries and issues promptly and efficiently. Your primary goal will be to ensure customer satisfaction by providing critical service and product information, processing orders, and tracking customer packages. As a key member of our customer care team, you will be expected to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a high sense of urgency and flexibility to meet the needs of our customers and the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Successfully troubleshoot and resolve all customer service inquiries or issues via incoming phone, email, and/or chat contacts
  • Provide customers with critical service and product information, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Process orders and enter data into our order entry system with accuracy and efficiency
  • Track customer packages and respond to customer inquiries regarding their orders
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership to support the customer care team and the overall business objectives

What You Bring to the Table:

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • 6+ months of experience within a customer service-focused environment, such as a contact center, retail, hospitality, or food and beverage (preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a high sense of urgency and flexibility to meet the needs of our customers and the business
  • Understanding of computer systems and troubleshooting issues with minimal assistance
  • Ability to work a set schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with required overtime as business needs dictate; flexibility is essential during peak times
  • A quiet, distraction-free, secure home workspace that meets our technical requirements
  • The ability to work your entire shift using a computer while stationed at a desk, wearing a headset, and turning on the camera when requested by leadership
  • Wired, high-speed Internet, Modem or Router with Ethernet Port – Thin client must connect directly (No Satellite Internet or Wi-Fi)

Essential Qualifications:

In addition to the above requirements, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; some college or a degree in a related field is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • 1+ year of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a contact center or retail environment
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other technology systems
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers who speak languages other than English
