Job Summary

As a Remote Online Chat Specialist at Blithequark, you'll be responsible for handling incoming customer live chats, addressing website navigation issues, service questions, and general client concerns. You'll evaluate customer interactions, elevate issues to the Online Chat Manager when necessary, and create relationships with new customers to better understand and achieve their needs. Your excellent communication skills, strong telephone etiquette, and ability to manage multiple tasks at once will make you a valuable asset to our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to incoming customer live chats regarding website navigation issues, service questions, and general client concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Evaluate customer interactions and elevate issues to the Online Chat Manager when necessary to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Build relationships with new customers to better understand and achieve their needs, promoting a positive and engaging experience.
  • Respond to customer questions, inquiries, requests, and problems accurately, concisely, and appropriately, providing solutions and alternatives when possible.
  • Promote interest in Blithequark's products and services, highlighting their benefits and features.
  • Consistently achieve established standards of the position, meeting or exceeding performance expectations.
  • Portray and project a positive and professional image, representing Blithequark's values and mission.
  • Provide administrative support to the customer service team, assisting with tasks and projects as needed.
  • May assist with overflow work and other duties as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience in customer service, preferably in a chat or phone-based environment.
  • Strong telephone etiquette and excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and software, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once, prioritizing and organizing work to meet deadlines and performance expectations.
  • Ability to adapt to different personalities, working effectively with customers and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in a remote or home-based environment, with a proven track record of productivity and success.
  • Knowledge of Blithequark's products and services, or a willingness to learn and become an expert.
  • Certification in customer service or a related field, such as ICSS or HDI.
