Position Summary
We are currently looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our remote team. As a Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, you will play a critical role in updating and maintaining information in our databases, providing administrative support as needed, and ensuring seamless operations. Key Responsibilities
- Preparing documentation for filing and associated correspondence, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Obtaining and verifying supporting information and documentation to ensure efficient administration of files, including income and tax filings, asset realizations, and other relevant documents.
- Responding promptly to queries and requests from creditors and debtors, providing timely and effective communication.
- Liaising with the administration team to obtain information, documentation, and resolve complex issues, utilizing Microsoft Dynamics CRM to extract file details and information.
- Preparing and reviewing files for completeness, following up on outstanding documents, and ensuring compliance with organizational protocols.
- Liaising with internal clients for clarification and issue resolution, providing exceptional customer service.
- Organizing file documents in accordance with our naming protocols, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Calculating income and surplus income obligations, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Performing relevant searches for insolvency, Personal Property Security Act registrations, house valuations, and computation of realizable value.
- Creating all documents required for signature, reviewing sign-up documents for accuracy and policy compliance, and filing documents with the Official Receiver.
- Accurately transferring pertinent information from written and scanned records into Ascend, our internal software.
- Maintaining client confidence and protecting operations by keeping information confidential.
- Liaising with external clients for clarification or outstanding documents, providing exceptional customer service.
- Electronic filing of statutory documents, preparing documents for DocuSign, and reviewing amended proposals.
- Performing other tasks as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Essential Qualifications
- Experienced performing data entry with a proven high level of accuracy, demonstrating attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Extremely detail-oriented, with exceptional organizational and prioritization skills.
- Proficient technical skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word); able to learn computer software quickly.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM would be an asset, demonstrating adaptability and willingness to learn.
- Able to work independently and efficiently, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills to speak and deal effectively with other staff members, demonstrating exceptional customer service.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a debt solution or financial services organization.
- Familiarity with Ascend or similar software, demonstrating adaptability and willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including provincial jurisdictions.
