Key Responsibilities

  • Manage planned and unplanned sales activities that impact multiple orders and customers, determining solutions and executing changes.
  • Lead cross-functional meetings to resolve complex issues, collaborating with internal stakeholders and key customers.
  • Perform day-to-day customer service activities, including order entry, expedited orders, and customer issue resolution.
  • Lead continuous improvement activities and project management with cross-functional teams to enhance quality, speed, and capabilities.
  • Serve as a single point of contact for assigned customers, attending face-to-face meetings, internal forecast meetings, and sales meetings.
  • Manage high-volume promotional activities, ensuring end-to-end execution of customer requirements.
  • Communicate and present to all levels of the organization, expressing ideas precisely and persuasively.
  • Investigate and validate claims, fines, and deductions, requesting reversals as needed.

Planned Activities:

  • Informal and formal allocation
  • Holiday schedules
  • New item implementations
  • Managing warehouse closing/openings
  • Item discontinuations
  • SAP implementations

Unplanned Activities:

  • Unplanned closings
  • Redirects
  • Dock capacity and transportation capacity issues
  • Open order reports
  • Quality holds
  • Pre-cuts
  • Short code and too old to sell process

Day-to-Day Customer Service Activities

  • Order entry and expedited orders
  • Customer order change requests
  • Customer pick-up and credits
  • Transportation issues and product cuts
  • General product information and over, short, and damaged process
  • Transportation method changes and process order changes
  • Credit hold resolution and vendor-managed inventory
  • Duplicate, missing, or incorrect orders
  • Identification and correction of electronic data interchange (EDI) order issues
  • Transportation Pool Schedules and order scrubbing

Qualifications and Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Availability to work rotating weekends
  • Strong customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of supply chain, Order Management, and Customer Services processes and systems
  • Ability to operate independently with minimal daily supervision

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or equivalent work experience
  • At least one year in a customer-facing role and one year in a call center
  • Three years in a customer-facing role and three years in a call center
  • Experience with SAP P08 and SAP reports, Oracle Transportation Management (OTM), Excel and Pivot Tables, SoftPhone, and Microsoft Office

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive benefits package that starts on day one of employment, including a pay range of $60,200 - $74,100.
