About the Role: Customer Care Associate

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Care Associate to join our team in Plano, Texas. As a Customer Care Associate, you'll be the frontline representative of blithequark, providing exceptional customer service to policyholders, beneficiaries, agents, and internal customers. Your expertise and professionalism will be instrumental in ensuring customer satisfaction, resolving queries, and addressing concerns in a timely and effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing top-notch phone customer service to a diverse range of customers, handling between 75 to 100 calls per day.
  • Communicating effectively and professionally with both internal and external customers to resolve questions and issues.
  • Developing and maintaining a solid working knowledge of the insurance industry, products, services, and processes performed by the team.
  • Collaborating with management or other team members to proactively address service issues and concerns.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction and striving to meet service standards.
  • Working in a designated quiet area while working from home to complete calls.

Essential Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience in an office environment.
  • 1 year of experience using a computer with Microsoft Windows PC applications.
  • 6 months of experience working from a home environment.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous insurance industry experience with knowledge of life insurance and annuity policies.
  • 6 months of experience in a role that required attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability for work product.
  • 6 months of experience in a role that required effective communication (oral/written) in a professional/office setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a call center environment.
  • Familiarity with insurance industry products and services.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple calls.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows PC applications.

Schedule and Availability

The required schedule availability for this position is Monday-Friday 7:00 am CT to 7:00 pm (Central Time), with potential Saturday morning shifts (rotating) from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm (Central Time). Shift times may be adjusted based on client requirements, and overtime may be required based on business needs.
