This role is part of our Revenue Recovery Department, working closely with a talented team of registered nurses, coding professionals, and billing experts.

About the Role

This is a full-time, hybrid position, offering a flexible mix of remote and in-office work, with a 2/3 days on/off mix. As a Project Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting our team in delivering high-quality services to our clients. Key Responsibilities

  • Project Associate Duties:
    • Retrieving patient medical records from various hospital systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
    • Generating and preparing patient itemized bills in the appropriate formats for both internal and external audits.
    • Extracting and entering necessary information from and to hospital patient accounting systems, maintaining data integrity.
    • Making phone calls to post-acute healthcare facilities to obtain required patient information, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
    • Running and creating reports, analyzing data to support project objectives.
    • Assisting with any other information gathering or data entry tasks as needed by the recovery team, showcasing adaptability.
    • Scanning and indexing documents, ensuring they are properly organized and easily accessible.

Essential Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A strong background in data entry, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools, with the ability to learn new systems.
  • Experience working with healthcare data or in a related field is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with various healthcare professionals.
  • The ability to work in a hybrid environment, splitting time between remote and in-office work.
