About the Role
As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be the face of our organization, interacting with customers, resolving issues, and providing top-notch service. Your expertise and dedication will be instrumental in driving customer satisfaction, building loyalty, and contributing to our continued success.
Key Responsibilities
- Bill shipments according to applicable tariffs and pricing agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Recognize and resolve documentation errors, taking corrective action to prevent future discrepancies.
- Assist customers with inquiries, including tracing shipments, rate quotes, tariff discrepancies, and billing and invoicing questions, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Perform general clerical duties as assigned, including answering and directing phone calls, filing, data entry, and billing, maintaining a high level of productivity and organization.
- Process over, short, and damaged freight and related documentation for customer resolution, ensuring prompt and fair resolution.
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed as a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll need:
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a transportation or logistics environment.
- Strong computer, typing, and 10-key skills, with the ability to efficiently and accurately navigate our systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, with a strong understanding of software applications.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends, with flexibility and adaptability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Transportation experience, with knowledge of industry-specific terminology, regulations, and practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, colleagues, and management.
