We're on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Learning Specialist to join our dynamic team and spearhead the development of innovative training solutions that empower our Customer Support Associates to excel.

About the Role

As a Senior Learning Specialist at blithequark, you'll be at the forefront of creating and delivering exceptional training experiences that foster long-term success. You'll lead and support a team of up to 30 Customer Support Associates, driving their growth and engagement through coaching, development, and performance management. Your expertise will be instrumental in crafting diverse training programs that cater to various learning modalities, including self-directed, instructor-led, virtual, and experiential learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and Analyze Learning Metrics: Oversee structured learning metrics and results for your assigned territory and region, using data to inform training and coaching needs.
  • Manage Live Performance Metrics: End-to-end management of live performance metrics for your assigned territory, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Deliver Training Sessions: Conduct learning sessions on new processes and deliver various training courses, including continuous learning, new hire batches, and transfer batches.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Maintain data and analysis through reports on Excel, as per business requirements, to drive informed decision-making.
  • Ensure Timely Completion of Training Programs: Guarantee the timely completion of new hire training programs, coaching, and other performance improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Operational Stakeholders: Partner with operational stakeholders as a key point of contact for the Learning Experience team, driving alignment and excellence.
  • Identify and Certify Learning Coaches: Recognize and certify learning coaches who can drive training excellence.
  • Lead Improvement Projects: Spearhead individual improvement projects to enhance business performance, leveraging your expertise and insights.
  • Drive Quality and Learning Metrics: Focus on driving quality and learning metrics that measure success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct Chime and Classroom Sessions: Engage with stakeholders through Chime sessions and classroom training, delivering impactful learning experiences.

Essential Qualifications

  • 2+ Years of Experience in Training Delivery: Proven track record in training delivery roles, with a focus on creating engaging learning experiences.
  • 1 Year of Customer Service Experience: Experience in customer service or customer service-related work, providing a deep understanding of customer needs.
  • Proficient Computer Skills: Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and instructional software.
  • Language Proficiency: Highly accurate and fluent in Japanese and English, both spoken and written.
  • Flexibility to Work in a Global Team: Ability to work within a 24/7 x 365 days global team across various time zones.
  • Knowledge of Adult Learning: Understanding of adult learning principles, content design, and facilitation techniques.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience as a Trainer or Corporate Training Specialist: Background as a trainer, corporate training specialist, or related position, with a proven ability to design and deliver effective training programs.
  • Project Management Skills: Ability to supervise multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and managing timelines.
  • Strong Multi-Tasking Ability: Capacity to handle multiple tasks with ease, maintaining focus and delivering results.
