Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

As a Lead Pharmacy Technician at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with senior technicians to coordinate daily production of assigned areas, including data entry, customer service, and automation
  • Troubleshooting and assisting with front-end processes and workflow issues to identify solutions
  • Partnering with pharmacy leaders on team training plans and collaborating with field training teams as needed
  • Assisting in orientation, training, and education programs for all controlled substances in accordance with policies, procedures, state, and federal laws
  • Leading and supporting the front-end pharmacy technician team to ensure exceptional customer service and accurate order processing
  • Assisting with data entry, customer service, and processing support tasks during busy periods
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance customer service and operational efficiency

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A verifiable High School Diploma or GED
  • Certification, licensure, or registration as a pharmacy technician, or as required by state law
  • One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and support team members
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently
  • Proficiency in data entry and customer service software, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Prior experience in the long-term care industry
  • PTCB National Certification
  • Experience with automation and data entry systems
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and customer service principles
