We are now seeking a highly motivated, production-driven, and team-oriented individual to join our Operations team as a part-time Customer Service Representative.

Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be the face of our company, providing exceptional customer service and technical expertise to our clients. You will be working remotely from the comfort of your home office, utilizing the latest customer service techniques and learning our account management systems to improve the customer experience during challenging times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide positive customer service and technical expertise through prompt, accurate, and courteous responses to customer information needs.
  • Offer empathy and support to customers during the claim process, ensuring a compassionate and understanding approach.
  • Collect and document all claim details provided by the customer into the claim accurately, maintaining attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Identify and resolve customer issues by adhering to client-specific handling instructions, demonstrating problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Utilize call scripting to ensure consistency and efficiency in handling customer claims and inquiries, while also showcasing your ability to adapt to different scenarios.
  • Remain available for extended hours or additional shifts during peak periods or emergency situations to provide critical support, demonstrating flexibility and reliability.
  • Adhere to break and lunch schedules to maintain productivity and ensure consistent customer service coverage, showcasing your ability to manage time effectively.

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Skills and Abilities

  • Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as police and accident reports. Ability to write routine correspondence and detailed accident descriptions. Ability to project a confident, clear, and professional telephone presence. Ability to provide feedback verbally and written in a positive, professional manner.
  • Computer Skills: Knowledge of and ability to navigate basic computer functions, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Typing speed of at least 40wpm required.
  • Education and Experience: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required. 1-2 years of quality assurance experience preferred.
  • Network Requirements: Upon hire, a Speed Test must be run from the computer the individual will be working from (www.speedtest.net). Ethernet connection is not required, however strongly recommended. Must be on a private network, not allowed to work in public locations. No VPNs are allowed, as logins must happen in the US.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bi-lingual in Spanish (preferred but not required).

Work Schedule and Benefits

This is a part-time position working approximately 3-29 hours per week. The needed times for the role are listed below in CST, and you can choose the shift that works for you within these times:

  • Sundays Only 8:00AM-4:00PM
  • Saturdays Only 8:00AM-4:00PM
  • Saturdays Only 4:00PM-12:00AM
  • Saturday & Sunday 4:00PM-9:00PM
  • Saturdays Only 4:00PM-9:00PM
  • Sundays Only 4:00PM-9:00PM
  • Saturdays Only 1:00PM-7:00PM
  • Saturdays Only 8:00AM-4:00PM
  • Sundays Only 8:00AM-5:00PM
  • Saturdays Only 8:00AM-11:00AM
  • Saturday & Sunday 7:00AM-5:00PM
  • Saturdays Only 7:00AM-5:00PM
  • Sundays Only 7:00AM-5:00PM
