Job Summary

We're seeking a seasoned Senior Data Analyst to lead the development and execution of data analysis projects, leveraging a wide range of data sets to inform business decisions. As a Senior Data Analyst at Blithequark, you'll work closely with stakeholders to understand key business issues, design and implement data analysis solutions, and communicate insights to drive business outcomes. Your expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization will be invaluable in helping us navigate complex business challenges and capitalize on emerging opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute data analysis projects to inform business decisions, leveraging a wide range of data sets and analytical techniques.
  • Apply statistical analysis and data mining techniques to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in complex data sets.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data analysis into business decision-making processes.
  • Guide junior analysts and provide mentorship on data analysis best practices and tools.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data analysis, machine learning, and business intelligence.

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Engineering, Operations Research, Economics, or Finance.
  • At least 3 years of work experience in data analysis, quantitative business problem-solving, operations research, marketing analysis, simulation development, or predictive analytics.
  • Proficiency in analysis software and applications, including programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with experience in creating reports, dashboards, and presentations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with data analysis tools such as SAFE Agile, Alteryx, Microsoft Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning techniques, including regression, clustering, and decision trees.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, with experience in data manipulation and analysis.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power Stage or Alteryx.
  • Familiarity with automation tools and techniques, including robotic process automation (RPA).
