Our Digital Operations Client Service Manager will play a critical role in our Milan-based Italian advertising sales and operations team, leading a team to design and execute the operational components of advertising campaigns across our digital properties.
About the Role
As a Digital Operations Client Service Manager at Blithequark, you will be responsible for leading a team to deliver effective media plans that maximize revenue, drive operational efficiency, and provide top-level sales and partner support. You will work closely with our sales team, clients, and partners to ensure that our advertising campaigns meet their objectives and exceed their expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Digital Operations Client Service managers to support assigned sales reps and related clients through all phases of the campaign lifecycle, from planning to invoicing.
- Responsible for delivering effective media plans that maximize revenue.
- Allocate team responsibilities while contributing to and aiding in the effort of the management.
- Perform all tasks connected with campaign management, specifically stock forecasting, media plan creation, order entry, dealing, streamlining, reporting, and invoicing.
- Ensure the Account Manager is fully trained on campaign execution and able to address all related questions.
- Act as the point of contact for any escalations on complex challenges or requests regarding stock, ad products, or campaigns.
- Assist Sales, Finance, and Accounting in revenue tracking.
- Investigate and resolve ad delivery, ad quality, and technical issues, liaising with global Ad Platforms support.
- Test potential ad tech vendor integrations and provide feedback on contract negotiations.
- Ideate, execute, review, and advance operational processes that drive quality and efficiency.
- Analyze utilization and performance of digital inventory to develop strategies and products that maximize revenue yield.
- Manage, mentor, and develop talent, including training future recruits.
- Create and update internal documentation to explain processes and best practices.
- Collaborate with regional teams and act as a local center of excellence for different offices across EMEA.
- Maintain a strong understanding of TWDC's ad tech stack and system, and follow industry developments.
What We Expect From You
Experience:
- Graduate level or comparable experience.
- 3+ years of overall experience in the advertising industry, either publisher/office side or in ad tech.
- Team management experience.
- Expertise in defining and optimizing processes.
- Highly proficient in determining, planning, dealing, and managing ad campaigns for display and video across websites, applications, social platforms, and connected television environments.
- Demonstrated ability in activating campaigns, creating accurate and relevant insights, and optimizing performance.
- Strong understanding of automated advertising, advances that power it, and key sellers in the space.
- Familiarity with general data security and privacy requirements connected with digital advertising.
- Ability to represent the company in outside meetings and events.
- Media or entertainment brand experience is helpful, as is knowledge of the processes and procedures of a global partnership.
- Essential ability to use and promote the management's systems (e.g., Google Ad Manager), ad server systems (e.g., DV360), and management of Creative Labels and Tracking to support and lead the assigned team.
- Knowledge of Impression activation for digital campaigns and related requirements.

- In-depth understanding of digital media and the marketing industry, especially video and within EMEA.
- IT savvy across core business applications and remote working instruments (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Slack, Zoom).
