About the Role: Healthcare Customer Advisor (Special Needs)
As a Healthcare Customer Advisor at Blithequark, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of members with special needs and their families. You will serve as a trusted advisor, providing holistic support and guidance throughout their journey. Your expertise and empathy will help resolve complex issues, including benefits, claims, and billing, while fostering strong relationships with members and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive support to members with special needs and their families, ensuring end-to-end resolution of issues and a positive experience.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for members, delivering compassionate support via phone, email, chat, and text.
- Build and maintain ongoing relationships with members and teammates, creating a memorable and positive experience.
- Independently make decisions and solve problems creatively, using sound judgment and critical thinking.
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects, ensuring timely follow-up and outreach to members.
- Collaborate with internal and external resources to add value and address member needs.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications:
To succeed as a Healthcare Customer Advisor at Blithequark, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent work experience.
- 1+ year of experience in customer-facing roles, advocacy, or support services.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 9:45am – 6:15pm CST, with occasional overtime.
- Aged 18 years or older.
Preferred Qualifications:
We welcome candidates with:
- 1+ year of experience with A4Me or Quick Assist.
- Claims processing experience.
- Experience providing care for children with special needs.
- Background in a member-focused healthcare environment or service delivery capacity.
