Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to provide exceptional support to our consumers, caregivers, and stakeholders. As a Bilingual Spanish Customer Service Representative, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality service, responding to inquiries, and resolving support tickets in a timely and professional manner. This is a remote opportunity that offers flexible scheduling and the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our consumers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound and outbound call inquiries, providing accurate and timely information to consumers, caregivers, and stakeholders.
  • Initiate outbound calls to follow up on previous contacts, resolve issues, and provide support.
  • Respond to inquiries in a professional, friendly, and timely manner, demonstrating a public-service oriented approach and understanding of the needs of persons with disabilities.
  • Perform support ticket transaction resolution tasks and administrative functions, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
  • Create and maintain excellent documentation of all calls, questions, complaints, and mailed inquiries.
  • Maintain adequate records and documentation for audit and internal control purposes.
  • Route mail, email, and other administrative support duties as assigned.
  • Develop an excellent working knowledge of operating platforms required to fulfill job responsibilities.
  • Learn program rules and regulations of assigned projects to ensure ability to respond to customer service inquiries.

Essential Qualifications

Education

A high school degree or equivalent is required.

Experience

6 months of call center experience or 1 year of customer service experience is preferred. Bilingual Spanish skills are required.

Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to compose reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated understanding and ability to work with persons with disabilities.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word is preferred.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
