About the Pre-K Part-Time Aftercare Support Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Pre-K Aftercare Support Professional to join our team. As a key member of our Pre-K 4-year-old program, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers in managing the aftercare program, ensuring a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for our young learners. Key Responsibilities
- Support teachers in managing the aftercare program for Pre-K 4-year-old students, ensuring a smooth and effective operation.
 - Engage students in enriching activities in 1:1, small group, and whole group settings, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
 - Assist in managing outdoor play, ensuring students' safety and well-being.
 - Maintain the cleanliness and organization of classrooms, preparing them for the next day's activities.
 - Support the lead teacher with end-of-day closeout activities, ensuring a seamless transition.
 - Assist students with various activities, including bathroom support, snack time, and rest, providing a nurturing and supportive environment.
 - Ensure students' safety at all times during their time in school, adhering to our high standards of care and supervision.
 - Work according to the specified schedule: Monday - Thursday, 3:30-5:30 PM; Friday, 12:30-5:30 PM.
 
Essential Qualifications and Skills

 - A High School Diploma or equivalent; relevant experience working with children is a plus.
