Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Product Managers responsible for individual games, providing strategic guidance and support to drive success.
  • Collaborate with development teams to design and execute live-operations game content, including monetization, engagement, and retention systems.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders on developed strategy, execution, and results, ensuring alignment and buy-in.
  • Drive the building of live operations content, leveraging data to inform decision-making and optimize outcomes.
  • Design and execute live-testing, analyzing results to drive actionable insights and improve game performance.
  • Use data to drive business growth, identifying opportunities to increase revenue, engagement, and customer satisfaction.

As a Principal Lead Product Manager at Amazon Games, you'll be part of a fast-paced, dynamic environment where no two days are the same. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including game development, marketing, and analytics, to drive game success and business growth. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in live game product management, with a proven track record of success.
  • 4+ years of experience managing a team, with a strong background in leadership and talent development.
  • 3+ major game titles released or managed, with $25m+ revenue.
  • 50+ live content releases, demonstrating a deep understanding of live operations and game development.
  • 2+ years of experience working with game design, core loops, and monetization vectors.
  • 2+ years of experience working in analytic and economic analysis, with a strong understanding of data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across design, tech, and product teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience across multiple platforms (PC, Mobile, Console, etc.), with a deep understanding of the gaming ecosystem.
  • A passionate gamer with an emphasis on user-generated content games and communities.
  • The ability to juggle multiple priorities, make things happen, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective negotiation skills, with the ability to make smart trade-offs (e.g., time vs. effort vs. features) and drive appropriate schedules.
  • The ability to collaborate with and effectively influence remote teams in multiple time zones.
