About the Role

As a Full Stack Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer at Apple, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of the AirPods product line. You will work closely with multi-functional teams to drive product quality, utilizing your skills to qualify features on Apple products that customers love to use. Your expertise will help make Apple products more fun, reliable, and accessible to everyone.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute tests to validate Bluetooth headsets and their underlying technologies
  • Verify key features of multiple products and software updates
  • Develop and run tests to ensure an exceptional client experience with Apple products
  • Create test plans and participate in the implementation of testing strategies and methodologies
  • Identify, replicate, and isolate bugs in automated, structured, and open styles of testing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and test new features, regression testing, and drive issue resolution

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Engineering (CE), Computer Science (CS), or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance, testing, or a related field
  • Experience with hardware and software development lifecycles
  • Strong background in testing embedded consumer gadgets or mobile phones
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as presentation skills
  • Ability to work with multi-functional and remote teams to achieve test goals collectively
  • Experience with defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in EE, CE, CS, or related field
  • Experience with Bluetooth technologies and audio testing
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
  • Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks
