As a Remote Data Research & Entry Specialist, you'll play a vital role in assisting our team with the collection and maintenance of new multi-family and rental housing data in our proprietary NHSLive data product.

Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Remote Data Research & Entry Specialist to join our team on a 1-year contract basis. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for monitoring project websites, city planning documents, and information supplied by our company to gather new data releases. You'll also be making inquiries via phone to gain information not included in these sources, inputting sales data and relevant information into our proprietary NHSLive data product, and verifying information accuracy using multiple tools.

Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Data Research & Entry Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Monitoring project websites, city planning documents, and information supplied by our company for new data releases
  • Making inquiries via phone to gain information not included in these sources
  • Inputting sales data and relevant information received from multiple sources into our proprietary NHSLive data product
  • Using multiple different tools to verify information accuracy
  • Monitoring all active development permits in relevant cities
  • Maintaining an accurate representation of upcoming multi-family projects and monitoring the scheduled launch dates and any changes in the development permit status

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:
  • Confidence in making phone calls and requests for information
  • Adeptness with technology, preferably with experience around website development
  • Organized and resourceful with strong research skills/abilities and ability to work from home, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to self-manage your own workload and work effectively independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent computer skills, including the ability to learn new software quickly, navigate Excel, MS Word, Microsoft Paint, Outlook, and other software packages

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:
  • Experience in data collection and analysis
  • Knowledge of the residential development industry
  • Experience with data entry software
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
