Key Responsibilities:

As a REMOTE Enterprise Architect - Applications, you'll be responsible for:
  • Designing, implementing, documenting, and maintaining a scalable and robust technology architecture framework that ensures business and technology alignment.
  • Establishing and evolving standards and architectures for system and data security, quality, production infrastructure, and Nonfunctional Requirements (NFRs), including internal standards and external standards such as TOGAF, Zachman, etc.
  • Providing consultation and education to architects and engineers regarding the architecture framework.
  • Developing and maintaining processes to guide and promote adherence to technology and security standards/policies.
  • Chairing relevant governance groups & boards to provide oversight of planning and design processes.
  • Leading technical modernization and application rationalization efforts to improve efficiency, minimize technology complexity, and avoid unnecessary duplication of capabilities or solutions to reduce the total cost of ownership (TCO) resulting from overspending on license costs, hardware, networking, or technologies that are no longer fit for purpose.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree, preferably in a related field, or a combination of education and experience that enables you to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
  • 10 years of proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or a similar role in an enterprise-class environment.
  • Progressive growth of role and increased responsibility throughout your career.
  • Deep technical knowledge in areas such as cloud, virtualization, client/server, service-oriented architecture (SOA) environment, software development, data, networking, middleware, storage, data management, infrastructure, and emerging technologies.
  • Excellent understanding of business strategy and the ability to align technology solutions accordingly.
  • Experience producing and driving Enterprise Architecture concepts, roadmaps, principles, and strategies across an organization.
  • Broad knowledge of business processes including service portfolio management, finance, asset management, high availability, disaster recovery, business continuity, and risk management.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that enable productive and positive interactions with business and technical leaders at all levels of the organization.

Desired Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree.
  • Certifications in relative technologies and enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.
  • Experience working in a mixed Agile/Waterfall environment.

  • Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF and Zachman.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.
