Job Title: Copy Editor – Creative Marketing Overview: Seeking a Copy Editor to join client's in-house creative marketing team. This role supports brand and campaign initiatives across digital, print, social, and other marketing channels. The Copy Editor will ensure accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment across all creative deliverables, while collaborating closely with designers, writers, and marketing partners. Key Responsibilities: • Review and edit copy for grammar, syntax, clarity, and adherence to brand and style guidelines. • Proofread and fact-check content across marketing materials, including digital, print, OOH, social, and paid media. • Collaborate with creative and design teams to ensure accuracy and consistency through all project stages. • Verify legal and compliance elements such as copyright and trademark usage. • Maintain version control, track edits, and communicate feedback clearly with stakeholders. • Manage workflow to meet project deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively. • Uphold brand voice and editorial standards across all campaigns and content formats. Required Skills & Experience: • Proven experience in copyediting and proofreading across marketing or communications content. • Strong command of English grammar, spelling, punctuation, and editorial best practices. • Experience working with established style guides (e.g., Chicago Manual of Style, AP). • Ability to refine and polish copy for final delivery. • Excellent organization and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience within entertainment, creative agencies, or digital media environments. • Familiarity with marketing and advertising language and tone. Soft Skills: • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. • Highly organized with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset. • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills. Technical Skills: • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Mac OS. • Experience with collaboration tools such as Slack or Monday.com.
