About the Role

As a Remote Licensed Claims Adjuster, you'll play a critical role in our claims management process, working directly with policyholders to provide guidance and support during a potentially stressful time. You'll be the primary point of contact for our customers, listening to their concerns, analyzing problems, and making recommendations to help them avoid future issues. Your expertise and professionalism will be instrumental in ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service, and that their claims are handled efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle insurance claims with professionalism and empathy, providing clear guidance and support to policyholders throughout the claims process.
  • Analyze claims data, identify potential issues, and make proactive recommendations to mitigate future risks.
  • Communicate effectively with policyholders, agents, and other stakeholders through various channels, including phone, email, and written correspondence.
  • Utilize your analytical skills to evaluate claims, identify trends, and develop solutions to complex problems.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of claims activity, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, managing your schedule and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 2+ years of prior Claims Adjuster experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • An active All-Lines Adjuster license (Independent/Company) in your home state, with required continuing education hours up to date.
  • A strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven analytical, problem-solving, and negotiating skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
  • A minimum high school diploma or GED, with a strong attention to detail and organizational ability.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision, managing your schedule and meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Previous experience working in a remote or hybrid environment.
  • A degree in a relevant field, such as business, insurance, or a related discipline.
  • Industry-specific certifications, such as those offered by the Insurance Institute or the American Insurance Association.

Training & Support

Our training program typically lasts around 7 weeks, with a combination of virtual "classroom" and "on-the-job" training. Work Schedule

As a Remote Licensed Claims Adjuster, you'll work a standard Monday-to-Friday schedule, with shifts varying between 8am and 5pm EST. You'll have the flexibility to work from home or other remote locations, with the support of our technology infrastructure and team.
