Job Overview

As a Remote Medical Billing Representative, you will be the frontline advocate for our patients, providing them with timely, professional, and personalized support regarding their medical billing inquiries. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls related to medical billing inquiries, providing clear and concise information to patients.
  • Address and resolve general questions concerning medical bills received by patients, ensuring they understand their financial obligations and options.
  • Process payments efficiently and conduct thorough research on billing statuses to resolve patient inquiries.
  • Assist patients in resolving account issues, discussing outstanding funds owed, and exploring available payment solutions.
  • Utilize various systems, including EPIC, Artiva, and TCN, to manage calls effectively and retrieve necessary information, ensuring a seamless patient experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, ensuring data integrity and compliance with industry regulations.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, you must possess:

  • At least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in retail, restaurant, or call center settings, where you've demonstrated your ability to handle diverse customer inquiries.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, laying the foundation for your professional development.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to empathize with patients and communicate complex information in a clear, understandable manner.
  • Strong technological aptitude and proficiency in utilizing computer systems, including experience with software applications relevant to medical billing.
  • Effective problem-solving capabilities, patience, and a customer-centric approach to handling inquiries and resolving issues.

Preferred Qualifications
