Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming calls with a professional and pleasant phone demeanor, ensuring timely and effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals.
 - Obtain and manage medical records through effective communication with patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
 - Assist with various administrative duties to streamline office operations, including data entry, record-keeping, and other tasks as required.
 - Utilize Spruce phone service for patient communications, ensuring seamless and secure interactions.
 - Work efficiently with electronic medical records (EMR) systems to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient information.
 - Leverage MS 365 tools to enhance productivity and collaboration within the team, including email management, calendar organization, and document sharing.
 
Qualifications and Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Proven experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role within a healthcare setting, with a strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures.
 - In-depth knowledge of HIPAA regulations and best practices, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and compliance.
 - Familiarity with EMR systems and experience using Spruce phone service (desirable but not essential).
 - Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
 - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
 - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
 
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Experience working in mental health support or a related field.
 - Familiarity with telemedicine services and platforms.
 - Previous experience working with Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) or other mental health professionals.
