Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately and efficiently enter data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers, meeting client turnaround times.
  • Navigate through imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations for data entry, ensuring efficient and effective processing.
  • Differentiate between various claim types and follow established data entry guidelines to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Identify specific document types that require special handling and process them accordingly.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure work is completed within designated turnaround times, promoting a cohesive and productive team environment.
  • Support additional workflows as needed, adapting to internal or external requirements and demonstrating flexibility.
  • Perform quality reviews of other team members' claims/authorizations according to established data entry guidelines, contributing to the team's overall quality and excellence.
  • Alert management to potential issues upon identification of discrepancies, ensuring prompt resolution and minimizing errors.
  • Provide recommendations on process improvements to increase efficiencies and enhance overall performance.

Essential Qualifications

To be a successful candidate for this role, you must possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a foundational level of education.
  • A minimum of 6 months of experience in a data entry or typing-focused role, showcasing your proficiency in data entry and typing skills.
  • Strong data entry/typing skills, with the ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in your work.
  • A high degree of accuracy, meeting the required standards for data entry and processing.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills
