About the Role

As a Remote Project Manager at Workwarp, you will be responsible for delivering specific tasks assigned by your supervisor within the IT Project Management job family. You will contribute to the development and tracking of project plans, schedules, and budgets, and may manage smaller deliverables within larger projects. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the successful implementation of our EPIC/EHR solutions and supporting clinical operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and track project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and within-budget delivery
  • Manage smaller deliverables within larger projects, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives
  • Maintain working relationships with client functional areas outside of IT to ensure seamless project execution
  • Collaborate with systems analysts, software designers, and programmers to determine the best methods to achieve project objectives
  • Make recommendations for staff and budget resources required to achieve project objectives
  • Organize and guide project operations using industry-accepted systems development and project management methodologies
  • Coordinate systems testing, installation, training, and support with client departments
  • Monitor and report project status using established metrics against the plan
  • Stay up-to-date with technical and managerial advances in IT to continuously improve project delivery
  • Complete day-to-day IT Project Management tasks with minimal supervision, leveraging advice from experienced team members as needed
  • Resolve non-routine issues escalated from junior team members, demonstrating problem-solving and leadership skills

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • 3+ years of experience in Health IT project management, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
  • EPIC or EHR experience, with a deep understanding of the implementation and support requirements for these systems
  • Solution implementation and go-live support experience, with a focus on ensuring seamless transitions for clients
  • Background in supporting technology for healthcare clinical operations teams, with a understanding of their unique needs and challenges
  • High school diploma, with a Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field preferred
  • Location in Arizona, with willingness to travel 30% within the greater Phoenix area

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following qualifications will be considered a plus:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field
  • Certifications in project management, such as PMP or Agile
  • Experience with project management tools, such as Asana, Trello, or MS Project
  • Strong understanding of healthcare clinical operations and the role of technology in supporting these operations
