Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve Sales Performance Goals: Meet and exceed annual sales targets, driving revenue and profit growth within your designated territory.
  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategy: Formulate and execute a sales strategy that promotes revenue and profit growth, identifying customer needs and opportunities, and crafting strategic plans to fulfill them.
  • Conduct Market Analysis: Analyze market trends to identify customer needs and opportunities, and develop strategic plans to capitalize on them.
  • Provide Sales Updates: Consistently provide updates on sales activities, including quote reports and sales pipeline forecasts, to ensure seamless communication with the Service Senior Director.
  • Foster Customer Relationships: Establish and nurture strong, enduring relationships with customers through tailored solutions and expert support, ensuring prompt follow-ups and exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in diesel, natural gas, and liquid propane generator engines, advising clients on complex technical issues and providing expert support.
  • Act as Primary Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the entire sales cycle, ensuring prompt follow-ups and exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Address Customer Service Challenges: Proactively address customer service challenges, fostering long-term partnerships and driving customer loyalty.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Participate in team meetings, contributing to departmental objectives and sharing best practices with colleagues.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Sales Experience: 1-3 years of sales experience, ideally in a technical or service-oriented environment.
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Customer Relationship Building: Ability to cultivate and maintain robust customer relationships.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with diesel, natural gas, and liquid propane generator engines is advantageous.
  • Education: A high school diploma or GED is mandatory; some college coursework is preferred.
