Job Overview

In this critical role, you will lead a team of hourly workforce members, ensuring they are engaged, motivated, and equipped to maintain the highest standards of safety, quality, attendance, and performance. Your leadership will be instrumental in meeting our customer promises, delivering orders to the right location at the right time. Our operations workflow is divided into three key components: First Mile, where products are housed and prepared for order; Middle Mile, where orders are transported to your area; and Last Mile, the final stage of delivery to our customers' doors. While each site may have its unique workflow variations, our dedication to customer satisfaction remains constant across all operations.

Key Responsibilities and Job Elements

  • Team Leadership: Mentor, support, and motivate your team of hourly workforce members to achieve operational excellence.
  • Operational Management: Oversee safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises, ensuring all aspects of the operation run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with various support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, to develop and implement plans that meet business objectives and drive growth.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach, with the capacity to stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
  • Work Environment: Comfortable working in an environment with varying noise levels, sometimes loud, and subject to changes in temperature and weather conditions, including outdoor loading departments.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to continuously climb and descend stairs in sites where applicable.
