Job Summary

As a Call Center Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for performing patient enrollment, data entry, and customer service tasks in a remote setting. You will work under the direct supervision of a team lead and be expected to adhere to company policies and procedures. Your primary responsibilities will include utilizing our pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and medication information, handling patient prescription requests, and resolving data entry-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform patient enrollment and data entry tasks in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Utilize pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and medication information, and handle patient prescription requests.
  • Investigate and resolve data entry-related issues, including deciphering clinical abbreviations (SIG codes).
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and messages from patients, prescribers, and other stakeholders.
  • Resolve third-party oddballs by assessing, gathering information, making prescriptions, and resubmitting for processing.
  • Provide support to pharmacists, both in-office and in other locations.
  • Identify and escalate issues to senior-level staff as necessary.
  • Obtain and maintain an active practitioner license or certification within the first 90 days of employment.

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Basic computer skills, including typing, using a mouse, and navigating online applications.
  • Intermediate-level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, and organizing files).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment.
  • At least 1.5 years as a pharmacy technician with a state-recognized certification or licensure.
  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services and assessing customer satisfaction.
  • Intermediate to advanced-level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, and organizing files).
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English).
