About the Sales Operations Team
The Sales Operations Team is dedicated to enhancing sales enablement initiatives by focusing on people, processes, and tools. As an intern, you will be entrusted with responsibilities that contribute to the success of the team, including supporting the sales team with analytics, sales tools, CRM, Salesforce, and dashboard reporting. You will also create and distribute communications and promotional solutions for the Southwest Business Team and our customers, providing customer support by managing inquiries and collaborating with various internal departments to develop technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the sales team with analytics, sales tools, CRM, Salesforce, and dashboard reporting to drive sales growth and improvement.
- Create and distribute communications and promotional solutions for the Southwest Business Team and customers to enhance customer engagement and loyalty.
- Provide customer support to the Southwest Business Team and customers by responding to and managing inquiries utilizing CRM tools, ensuring timely and effective resolution of customer issues.
- Partner with various internal departments to develop technical solutions, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Participate in ad hoc sales projects, promotions, and planning, contributing to the development and implementation of sales strategies and initiatives.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid U.S. Social Security Number to complete the full hiring process.
- Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
- Progress towards a degree, major, or minor in Professional Sales, Marketing, Business, Hospitality, Computer Science, Analytics, Information Technology, or Aviation-related field.
- Progress towards a 4-year undergraduate degree preferred.
- Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student at the time of application and during the internship.
- Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA at the time of application.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Work experience in an Aviation environment preferred.
- Previous work or internship experience in an analytics-related role preferred.
- Experience with Tableau, Alteryx, or Salesforce preferred.
