As a key connection point between Product, Business Intelligence, Hardware, and Data Science teams, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to develop and execute data-driven initiatives that support blithequark's goals around device health, subscription retention, and user engagement. **A Day in the Life** As a Product Manager – Retention, each day will bring new opportunities to impact blithequark's customers and drive retention. You may start your day reviewing customer feedback and product usage data to identify friction points, then collaborate with the product team to develop an email campaign to reengage lapsed users. In the afternoon, you might present retention metrics and campaign results to leadership, while also planning for an upcoming product launch that requires a comprehensive retention strategy across multiple touchpoints. The variety of projects and ability to directly influence customer loyalty is what makes this role so exciting. **About the Team** The Customer Experience & Engagement team at blithequark is a dynamic group of marketing, product, creative, and analytical experts united by a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. Whether recommending new smart home solutions or ensuring current devices remain online and performing well, the CxE team is constantly finding ways to engage and retain blithequark's growing customer base. **Key Responsibilities** As a Product Manager – Retention, your key responsibilities will include: * Managing audience-specific messaging and communication strategies across email, push notifications, in-app messaging, and SMS to drive device, subscription, and user retention. * Collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Business Intelligence, Hardware, and Data Science teams to understand product usage, customer behaviors, and pain points impacting retention. * Leveraging data and customer insights to identify opportunities and act as the voice of the customer to propose communications that improve the blithequark customer experience. * Testing, tracking, and measuring the impact of retention initiatives on key metrics like device health, subscription renewals, and user engagement. * Communicating campaign performance and recommendations to leadership to inform future retention strategies. * Staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in customer retention to continuously improve blithequark's approach. **Basic Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you will need: * 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology experience. * A Bachelor's degree or equivalent. * Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition. * Experience with end-to-end product delivery. * Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product. * Experience as a product manager or owner. * Experience owning technology products. **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications would be highly desirable: * Experience in influencing senior leadership through data-driven insights. * Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders. **What We Offer** As a valued member of the blithequark team, you can expect: * A competitive salary range of $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. * A comprehensive total compensation package, including equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation. * A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. * Opportunities for career growth and professional development. * A dynamic and supportive work environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion. **How to Apply** If you are a motivated and experienced product professional looking for a new challenge, please submit your application via our internal or external career site.
