Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Claims Specialist - Professional Liability (Cyber) to analyze complex claims, provide resolutions, and manage claim costs while delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cyber claims management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex claims: Evaluate technically difficult cyber and professional liability claims to determine coverage and liability.
  • Provide claim resolutions: Resolve medium to highly complex claims in a fair and timely manner.
  • Manage claim costs: Control and minimize claim costs while maintaining high levels of customer service.
  • Diverse portfolio management: Handle a wide range of cyber claims, ensuring each is thoroughly investigated and managed.
  • Comprehensive investigations: Conduct in-depth investigations into incidents to determine coverage and liability.
  • Policy analysis: Analyze policy wordings to determine coverage applicability for each claim.
  • Documentation and communication: Draft coverage letters, maintain accurate claim files, and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Fraud identification and recovery: Identify and investigate potential fraud and recovery opportunities.
  • Client relationship management: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, providing exceptional service and support.

Requirements

Education and Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree: Required from an accredited college or university.
  • JD: Preferred.
  • Adjuster Licenses: As required.
  • Professional certification: Preferred, as applicable to the line of business.

Experience

  • Claims management experience: At least 5 years.
  • Cyber claims management experience: At least 2 years.

Skills and Competencies

  • In-depth knowledge: Of cyber and professional liability lines.
  • Excellent communication: Oral and written, including presentation skills.
  • PC literacy: Including Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong organizational skills: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent negotiation skills: Ability to negotiate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Good interpersonal skills: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Performance competencies: Ability to meet or exceed performance expectations.
