This role is part of our Supply Chain Service D&A (Data & Analytics) Capabilities Team, which delivers cutting-edge analytical products and solutions for our Technical Innovation & Supply Chain (TISC) function. As a Senior Manager, Supply Chain Services - Quality, you will play a pivotal role in leading complex product development, building data-centric solutions that provide actionable business insights, and deepening analytic capabilities for the TI&SC function.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on, and collaborative data and visualization engineering lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading complex product development, building data-centric solutions, and working cross-functionally with technology and business teams to align on deliverables and ensure projects are delivered as agreed. Previous Quality, Safety, and Environment (QSE) experience is highly desirable for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Project Leadership: Identify and lead strategic projects to support the growth goals for the TISC Function, managing strategic initiatives and execution roadmaps in collaboration with functional, technology, architecture, governance, and security teams.
  • Data Analytics and Insights: Gather operational data to examine past business performance, provide data analytics services, identify data patterns and trends, and offer insights to enhance business decision-making capabilities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with technology and business teams to align on deliverables and ensure projects are delivered as agreed, managing discussions including Cloud Data Architecture, Data Modeling, Dashboard Design, and End-to-End Application Development.
  • Project Management: Manage changes to project scope, budget, and schedule, collaborating and coordinating with project stakeholders to ensure on-time deliverables that push programs forward.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and expertise for architecting new capabilities and solutions, assessing data, technologies, and approaches for ingestion, transformation, and storage.
  • Data Engineering: Architect large and complex data models, utilizing in-depth skills and hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Synapse, SQL, Spark, GitHub integration, testing, rollout, and support areas, as well as data solution architecture and storytelling based on data.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in ETL or data engineering roles, with a focus on building and implementing data pipelines and modeling data.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Data Engineering Methodologies: Strong knowledge of data engineering methodologies.

Preferred Experience & Competencies:

  • Demonstrated Ability: Demonstrated ability to successfully manage large-scale data transformation initiatives and influence matrix organizations.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strategic thinking, integrating diverse business insights and connecting the dots to develop a holistic approach.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to structure and coordinate/lead cross-functional complex analysis, initiatives, or efforts.
  • Systemic Thinking: Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts and global capabilities implementation, being comfortable with ambiguity and willingness to challenge the status quo.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem-solving ability, and leadership skills, along with relationship management ability.

Skills and Competencies

  • Technical Skills: Strong SQL skills to write efficient queries and stored procedures, good knowledge of Azure functions, ADLS, Synapse pipelines, GIT repository, and API gateway.
  • Soft Skills: Self-motivated and directed with an attention to detail, project management/process improvement skills, effectively evaluates information/data to make decisions, anticipates obstacles, and develops plans to resolve issues.
  • Customer Focus: Demonstrated customer focus – evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer and ensures enhanced experience.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile methodologies, collaborative leadership, supply chain domain knowledge, communication, influencing decisions, key performance indicators (KPIs), Microsoft Office, process improvements, project management, researching, stakeholder management, storytelling, strategic planning, and tactical planning.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $133,000 - $157,000, depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Our benefits package includes a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position. We also offer an annual incentive reference value percentage of 15, which is a market-based competitive value for your role.
