The job in a nutshell

To facilitate the physical and accurate movement of stock for both inbound and outbound operations to achieve daily targets agreed with the Warehouse Manager and Assistant Manager. This will include the safe use of MHE including very narrow aisle trucks (VNA) and power pallet trucks (PPT`s).

Who you will work with

Internal: Buying, Customer Service, Shipping and Compliance, Stock Control

External: 3rd party delivery providers

What you will do

  • Organizing the completion of the daily picking and packing of customer orders for dispatch in accordance with agreed warehouse standards
  • Investigate stock issues generated from the pick and pack operation to maintain stock accuracy
  • Ensure all orders are loaded and despatched daily on time, as requested by the despatch team.
  • Ensure all orders are despatched accurately and on time to BB&R standards.
  • Report all breakages to the stock control team.
  • Notify the stock controller of all discrepancies.
  • Ensure all received goods are unloaded, checked, put away and confirmed onto the system accurately, and as efficiently as possible.
  • Move palletised goods within the warehouse safely using appropriate mechanical handling equipment (only when trained to do so).
  • Good housekeeping to maximise storage capacity and have efficient pick/put-away operation.
  • Complete daily stock counts.
  • Complete any other duties as reasonably determined by your line manager.
  • Ensure that all working practices comply with OSHA Standards including incident reports, vehicle inspections, equipment damage and near misses.
  • Maintain the working area in clean and tidy fashion

Role Requirements

Experience / Achievements

  • Use of MBC for order fulfilment of shipments
  • Inbound and Outbound movement of goods
  • Forklift Experience
  • Valid Driver's License

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
