Job Overview
This dynamic role is responsible for acquiring, developing, and managing high-value debts that enhance our product selection, pricing, and convenience for our customers. The successful candidate will be tasked with identifying product selection gaps and executing go-to-market strategies to attract key marketplace players to join our e-commerce platform, maximizing our product selection and customer base. As a key member of our team, you will be expected to develop a thorough understanding of the marketplace segment, seasonality, and global developments, as well as monitor competitor efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Growing a thorough know-how of the marketplace segment, seasonality, and worldwide developments/activities, and usually monitoring competitor efforts.
- Identifying, prospecting, and obtaining high-ability sellers to our platform via direct sales visits, events, and presentations.
- Guiding dealers through sharing best-practices of online selling, including data-driven insights that help dealers obtain high standards of delivery, customer satisfaction, and business objectives.
- Participating with and influencing internal and external stakeholders to recognize and resolve vendor problems.
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree is required.
- 1 to 3 years of successful enterprise-class sales experience, preferably in the e-commerce, technology, retail, or FMCG industries.
- Demonstrated achievement in exceeding income objectives using a consultative and solutions-focused approach.
- Experience promoting nascent products/offering into new markets is strongly favored.
- Advanced conversation and presentation abilities, a strong working understanding of Excel and MS Office programs, and an ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment.
- Remarkable business judgment with strong written and oral communication skills.
- Advanced analytical abilities and quantitative skills.
- At ease with complicated financial data and polished communication abilities, including speaking, writing, imparting, and negotiating.
- Ability to think and lead in a high-energy, rapid-paced environment, with a hands-on approach to managing responsibilities and demonstrated ability to manage multiple, competing priorities concurrently.
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:
- 2+ years of e-commerce experience is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in the consumer electronics quarter is a plus.
- 3+ years of direct sales experience is a plus.
