About the Role: Customer Care Specialist II

In this critical role, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, addressing their inquiries, resolving issues, and providing critical service and product information to ensure customer satisfaction. As a fully remote, work-from-home position, you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home, with the requirement of a quiet, distraction-free, and secure workspace. Our team operates on a variety of shifts, including day and night shifts, and we require schedule flexibility, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with occasional overtime as business needs dictate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Successfully troubleshoot and resolve all customer service inquiries or issues via incoming phone, email, and/or chat contacts, ensuring prompt and effective solutions.
  • Provide customers with critical service and product information, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Process orders and enter data into our order entry system, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Track customer packages, ensuring timely delivery and resolving any issues that may arise.

Requirements for Success:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following essential qualifications:

  • 6+ months of experience within a customer service-focused environment, such as a contact center, retail, hospitality, or food and beverage (preferred).

  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a high sense of urgency and adaptability in response to changing situations.
  • Understanding of computer systems and troubleshooting issues with minimal assistance, ensuring seamless resolution of technical issues.
  • Ability to work a set schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with required overtime as business needs dictate, and flexibility during peak times.
  • A quiet, distraction-free, and secure home workspace, with a reliable computer, wired high-speed internet, modem or router with Ethernet port, and a thin client that can connect directly (no satellite internet or Wi-Fi).
  • The ability to work your entire shift using a computer while stationed at a desk, wearing a headset, and turning on the camera when requested by leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Prior experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with a proven track record of success in a home-based setting.
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other technology platforms used in customer service environments.
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers who speak languages other than English.
