Within CIMA, the Digital and Travel Operations Analytics (DTOA) crew is focused on leveraging best practices in analytics to capture data, analyze, and optimize our digital and contact channels to drive guest satisfaction and business outcomes.
**Job Summary**
As a Performance Analyst, you'll provide dimension and analytical support for Contact Centers and pre-arrival Walt Disney World Commerce. You'll work closely with the DTOA team to conduct forecasting, root-cause analysis, processing, quality assurance, and ad-hoc business analysis, as well as provide analytical support to the local operation and partners across the division. This includes development, management, measurement, and analytics. You'll achieve this role if you're a self-starter, infinitely curious, detail-oriented, enthusiastic about data storytelling, able to handle ambiguity, and meeting strict timelines.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Conduct forecasting, ad-hoc modeling, and deep-dive analysis to inform business decisions
* Monitor agent performance, proactively identify areas that require further research, and conduct analyses from start to finish
* Build dashboards and visualizations to inform compelling stories with data
* Present and discuss findings, insights, and recommendations to Senior Leadership and business partners
* Create, maintain, audit, and continuously optimize reports and documents used to manage various programs
* Execute programs critical to the business operation as required under strict timelines
**Measurement and Analytics**
* Leverage multiple reporting tools and databases (Tableau, Snowflake, Hadoop, Dataiku, Excel, etc.) to conduct analyses and build/maintain reports
* Monitor data quality and document accuracy; improve if needed
* Collaborate with team members, leaders, and business partners to respond to summary business questions with sound quantitative analyses and reproducible results
* Apply progressive analytic techniques to test hypotheses and extract actionable insights
* Stay up-to-date with today's data technology trends and share knowledge and best practices with team members
**What We're Looking For**
* Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of quantitative, non-internship experience in an analytical role
* Familiarity with forecasting, including conventional statistical techniques and/or machine learning or deep learning techniques
* Proactive interest in understanding the "Why" behind performance, decisions, etc.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks and complete projects on time
* Effective communication skills (verbal, written, and visual)
* Desire to excel in a fast-paced, complex, and ambiguous business environment
* Experience with SQL and R or Python
**Nice-to-Haves**
* Solid knowledge of statistical inference and proven experience in applying statistical rigor to analyses
* Knowledge of data visualization best practices and experience with data visualization tools, including Tableau or Power BI
* Excellent SQL skills and fluency in R or Python
* Ability to quickly adapt and learn new tools and skills
* Ability to maintain and develop relationships with partners/clients/team members
* Graduate degree and/or 4+ years of relevant experience in analytics or data science
