Executive Functioning Coach | Remote, Part-Time/Flexible Hours
Level-Up Life is looking for Executive Functioning Coaches to join our growing remote team. We work with children, teens, and young adults to build organization, time management, and emotional regulation skills that help them succeed at school and beyond.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about helping adolescents, and young adults with executive functioning skills. A successful candidate will have a love for working with those whose primary struggles with academics and independence are mental health related such as interpersonal skills, anxiety/depression, and ADHD, among other struggles students often have to balance with school. A background in working 1:1 with clients in a mentoring/coaching role is required and a background in working at residential/wilderness programs and/or with resistant students is especially desirable. All of the work you do is remote and you will be able to manage most of your schedule aside from some training and mandatory meetings.
Please DO NOT apply for this position if you do not have experience with coaching and/or mentoring students one on one. This position has academic elements involved but it is not a tutoring role. We need someone with experience working one on one with students, parents, and an entire support team to help these clients be successful. This requires patience, creativity, integrity, and being willing to challenge yourself and ask questions when you don't have all the answers. This job is fully remote, but we are looking for people who live in Utah. Hourly pay begins at $18 per hour and increases to $20 per hour after a probationary period.
Those that have thrived in this role have experience working with students in residential treatment centers, rehabilitation centers, wilderness programs, and other therapeutic programs where students work to succeed in school as well as improve their mental health.
Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree
• Minimum of two years of experience working.1:1 with students in a tutor/mentor/coach role
• Must live in Utah (even though position is fully remote)
• Background in psychology, education, counseling, or a related field
• Experience with children, teens, and/or young adults
• Availability for at least 15 hours per week (afternoons/evenings required; weekends a plus)
• Comfortable working remotely with clients online
• Reliable, professional, and motivated to make a positive impact
• Have strong Executive Functioning skills in own life
Role Responsibilities and Details:
• Provide 1:1 coaching to help clients strengthen executive functioning skills
• Coach parents in implementing interventions for their students.
• Help clients build habits on a daily basis with check-ins and in sessions.
• Build rapport swiftly and in a healthy way, even with high-resistance students.
• Role model effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Teach students how to manage schoolwork, improve efficiency, reduce stress, and improve independence.
• Collect, analyze, and report data for students to parents and utilize it for updating academic plans on the go.
• Hours start part-time and build as your client roster grows
• Pay starts at $18 per hour and increases to $20 per hour after a probationary period
