Job Summary
We are looking for a Reservation Sales Agent to work remotely and be part of our income group, which is the biggest sales-generation department at United Airlines. As a Reservation Sales Agent, you will be responsible for generating direct local income at assigned offices, providing top-notch services to clients, and achieving sales and ancillary goals.
Key Responsibilities
• Proactively prospect and qualify new direct clients for the city ticket office (CTO) using telemarketing campaigns, cold calls, and sales calls to develop a customer database.
• Participate in joint sales calls with the CTO supervisor, sales department team, and airline partners, as well as key events to identify new prospects.
• Maintain frequent and regular communication with CTO-assigned customers, travel groups, and corporate/PerksPlus accounts.
• Comply with corporate bills and best customers tracking their tour activity and calls to enhance United's presence.
• Issue/reissue domestic and international tickets for journeys on United Airlines and other airline partners.
• Comply 100% with United Airlines' internal Audit guidelines, regulations, and procedures.
• Keep up to date and informed with all United regulations and procedures to provide top-notch customer support.
• Assist co-employees and direct clients with problems and issues associated with reservations/ticketing, MileagePlus, refunds, United.com services, and products.
• Offer income support for the Account Managers by supplying email and making contact with aid to travel businesses and company bills across Latin markets.
• Serve as an extra point of contact for carrier-associated issues inside Latin America's sales corporation for United's contracted organizations and company customers.
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent education (GED).
• 2+ years of previous sales experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish (fluent).
• Ability to work under pressure and flexibility with working shifts.
• Willingness to perform new assignments as the job evolves.
• Proactive team player with an effective mindset, a high degree of multitasking, prospecting, and telemarketing abilities.
• Legally eligible to work in Mexico for any organization without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 2+ years of previous airline sales experience.
• 2+ years of Reservations and Ticketing expertise.
• Valid passport and U.S. Visa.
