As a fully remote‑first organization, we champion flexible work‑styles, inclusive collaboration, and a culture that celebrates curiosity, creativity, and continuous learning.

Our team of designers, engineers, and strategists works across time zones, sharing knowledge through virtual design studios, live‑streamed workshops, and regular “digital cafés.” At Indotronix, every employee is empowered to own their career trajectory, influence product direction, and shape the future of enterprise UI/UX. If you’re looking for a role that blends strategic thinking with hands‑on design, a place where your work directly influences high‑visibility client engagements, and a supportive community that values diversity and equity—welcome home.

Position Overview – Remote UI/UX Designer (Contract‑to‑Hire)

We are actively seeking an experienced Remote UI/UX Designer to lead the creation of scalable design systems for both internal Pega applications and external client‑facing portals built with Angular. This is a contract‑to‑hire opportunity that offers a competitive salary, flexible working hours, and a clear pathway to permanent employment based on performance and business needs.

In this role, you will partner closely with product owners, business analysts, Agile scrum teams, and our client stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into intuitive, accessible, and aesthetically compelling experiences. Your designs will become the foundation of our clients’ digital ecosystems, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and delight across every touchpoint.

Key Responsibilities – Crafting Cohesive, Scalable Experiences

Strategic Design Leadership

  • Define, document, and evangelize a robust UI/UX library and design framework that supports rapid development and enterprise‑scale consistency.
  • Establish design standards for internal Pega UI components as well as external Angular‑based client portals, ensuring visual harmony and functional alignment.
  • Lead the evolution of design patterns, typography, color palettes, iconography, and interaction guidelines that reflect brand identity and accessibility best practices.

Pega Expertise & Screen Architecture

  • Collaborate with business teams and solution architects to structure internal Pega screens for optimal usability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Leverage Pega’s Constellation UI framework to design reusable widgets, templates, and data visualizations that simplify complex workflows.
  • Conduct design reviews and provide actionable feedback to developers to guarantee fidelity between design specifications and implemented screens.

Angular Integration & Front‑End Design

  • Design the external presentation layer using Angular, ensuring seamless integration with Pega back‑end services and APIs.
  • Develop high‑fidelity prototypes (using tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD) that illustrate responsive behavior across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
  • Work hand‑in‑hand with front‑end engineers to translate design assets into clean, modular, and performant code.

Agile Collaboration & Continuous Delivery

  • Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies—including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives—to align design work with development velocity.
  • Provide design mentorship and training sessions for cross‑functional teams, reinforcing the adopted design system and encouraging a user‑centered mindset.
  • Iterate rapidly based on user feedback, analytics, and stakeholder input, maintaining a data‑driven design process.

User‑Centric Research & Data Visualization

  • Conduct user research activities (interviews, usability testing, surveys) to uncover pain points, goals, and behavioral patterns.
  • Synthesize research findings into personas, journey maps, and experience blueprints that inform design decisions for both internal and external users.
  • Design clear, intuitive data visualizations—charts, dashboards, and tables—that translate complex datasets into actionable insights.

Essential Qualifications – What You Bring to the Table

  • Experience: 3–5 years of professional UI/UX design experience, with a proven track record of delivering enterprise‑grade solutions.
  • Pega Proficiency: Hands‑on experience designing within Pega’s Constellation UI framework, including custom widgets, rules, and data bindings.
  • Angular Knowledge: Solid understanding of Angular architecture, component libraries, and responsive design principles.
  • Design Systems Mastery: Demonstrated ability to create, document, and maintain UI libraries and design systems that scale across multiple products.
  • Agile Mindset: Experience working in Scrum or Kanban environments, comfortable with iterative development cycles and rapid feedback loops.
  • Data Visualization Skills: Proficiency in translating complex data sets into clear, interactive visual elements using tools such as D3.js, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Preferred (Nice‑to‑Have) Qualifications – Extra Edge

  • Deep knowledge of ADA compliance, WCAG 2.1 standards, and accessible design patterns.
  • Professional certifications in UX (e.g., NN/g, Interaction Design Foundation) or Pega (e.g., Pega Certified System Architect).
  • Experience leading remote design workshops, design sprints, or virtual co‑creation sessions.
  • Background in enterprise SaaS products, especially in finance, healthcare, or supply‑chain domains.
  • Familiarity with version‑control for design assets (e.g., Abstract, Kactus, or Git‑based design workflow).

Core Skills & Competencies – Success Factors

  • Human‑Centered Design: Empathy‑driven approach, ability to balance business goals with user needs.
  • Problem Solving: Comfort tackling ambiguous problems and breaking them down into actionable design solutions.
  • Collaboration: Strong team player who thrives in cross‑functional environments and can influence without authority.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous eye for pixel‑perfect execution, consistent spacing, and typographic hierarchy.
  • Adaptability: Ability to pivot quickly based on emerging requirements, stakeholder feedback, or technical constraints.
  • Time Management: Proven capacity to manage multiple workstreams, meet deadlines, and deliver high‑quality output under pressure.
