Position Overview – What You’ll Do

Reporting to the Corporate Fleet Manager, you will lead the end‑to‑end compliance program for Stantec’s North American vehicle inventory. You’ll partner with internal stakeholders, external regulators, and technology providers to keep our fleet legally sound, safe, and ready for the road. Key Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate, real‑time database of all commercial vehicles, their assignments, and status across the United States and Canada.
• Regulatory Compliance Assurance: Verify that every vehicle meets licensing requirements such as IRP (International Registration Plan), IFTA (International Fuel Tax Agreement), DOT (Department of Transportation), ELD (Electronic Logging Device) mandates, National Safety Code, FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) standards, and Transport Canada regulations.

Essential Qualifications – What We Need From You

• Experience: Minimum of five (5) years in a fleet compliance, fleet operations, or related role with demonstrable responsibility for regulatory adherence of commercial vehicles.
