At Zaddy Solutions, we are proud to be a 100% employee‑owned firm that is reshaping the landscape of civil and environmental engineering in Wisconsin and beyond. Recognized as a Top Workplace by the Journal Sentinel, our organization thrives on collaboration, continuous learning, and a shared commitment to delivering sustainable, high‑quality land development projects that benefit communities, clients, and the environment. Whether you are working from our Green Bay office or from a hybrid remote setup, you will join a team that values innovation, mentorship, and the personal growth of every employee.

Why This Position Is a Game‑Changer for Your Career

Our Land Development Team is on an aggressive growth trajectory, and we are actively seeking a seasoned professional who can both lead and execute complex projects. As a Senior Land Development Civil Engineer & Project Manager, you will have the autonomy to shape project strategies, influence design standards, and build lasting relationships with contractors, regulatory agencies, and clients. This role is an unparalleled opportunity to blend technical excellence with strategic management, positioning you as a key driver of Zaddy Solutions’ continued success and your own professional advancement.

Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Own Every Day

  • Project Leadership: Oversee the full lifecycle of land development projects—from conceptual feasibility studies to final construction documentation—ensuring that all milestones are met on time and within budget.
  • Design & Engineering: Produce detailed civil engineering designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D, incorporating grading, stormwater management, utility layouts, roadways, and site grading plans that comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Regulatory Navigation: Liaise with municipal planning departments, environmental agencies, and utility providers to secure permits, address compliance issues, and streamline approval processes.
  • Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, presenting design concepts, progress updates, and cost estimates while fostering trust and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams—including architectural, structural, and environmental specialists—to integrate diverse perspectives into cohesive project solutions.
  • Mentorship & Training: Guide junior engineers and interns through hands‑on coaching, technical reviews, and knowledge‑sharing sessions, reinforcing Zaddy’s culture of continuous learning.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous QA/QC procedures, conduct peer reviews, and verify that all deliverables meet Zaddy’s high standards for accuracy, safety, and sustainability.
  • Budget & Schedule Management: Develop detailed project schedules, monitor expenditures, and proactively identify risks to mitigate cost overruns and delays.
  • Cross‑Functional Opportunities: Participate in cross‑team initiatives with our market development, sustainability, and business development groups to expand service offerings and explore new revenue streams.

Essential Qualifications – What You Must Bring

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related discipline; a Master’s degree is a distinct advantage.

  • Communication Excellence: Superior written and verbal communication skills, capable of delivering clear technical presentations and drafting comprehensive reports.
  • Self‑Motivation & Independence: Ability to work autonomously in a hybrid remote environment while maintaining high productivity and meeting tight deadlines.

Preferred (But Not Required) Qualifications – Nice to Have
