About the Role of a Fitness Specialist

As a Fitness Specialist at StretchLab, you will play a vital role in delivering one-on-one assisted stretch sessions to our clients, helping them to achieve their health and wellness goals. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions to clients, providing a safe and supportive environment for them to achieve their health and wellness goals
• Encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions, helping them to build confidence and achieve a sense of empowerment
• Ensure the safety of clients at all times, enforcing StretchLab policies and safety rules, and maintaining a clean and well-maintained studio environment
• Build and retain a loyal client base, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that clients feel valued and supported
• Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations, staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the fitness industry and our proprietary assisted stretching methodology
• Handle member concerns and feedback in a professional and courteous manner, providing solutions and support as needed
• Assist sales associates and the General Manager with studio tours and sales, helping to promote our services and build our community of clients
• Maintain a strong social media presence, engaging with clients and promoting our services to help build our brand and reputation

Essential Qualifications

• A passion for health, fitness, and exercise, with a strong desire to help others achieve their wellness goals
• A background in a relevant field, such as personal training, massage therapy, physical therapy, Pilates or yoga instruction, or dance instruction
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
• A professional work ethic, with a strong commitment to reliability, punctuality, and adherence to our attendance policies
• Availability to complete our 3-day Flexologist Training Program, which includes 20 hours of online tutorials and 3 days of in-person/hands-on training

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a boutique fitness environment, with a strong understanding of the importance of providing exceptional customer service
• A certification in a relevant field, such as personal training, massage therapy, or physical therapy
• Experience with assisted stretching or a related modality, with a strong understanding of the benefits and techniques involved
• A strong social media presence, with experience in promoting services and engaging with clients online
