Job Overview and Responsibilities

As a Home Care Aide at HumanGood, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our residents in their private residences. Your primary focus will be on assisting residents with daily living activities, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall quality of life. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing assistance with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene
  • Preparing meals and assisting with dining activities as needed
  • Escorting residents to medical and social appointments, stores, or running errands on their behalf
  • Assisting with planning and participation in social activities to promote engagement and community involvement
  • Performing home management tasks such as housekeeping, laundry, and sorting mail
  • Developing awareness of residents' interests and needs to provide tailored support and care
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any unusual symptoms or problems to supervisors
  • Providing effective customer service and ensuring that residents' needs are met with empathy and understanding

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
