As a Manager, Revenue Accounting, you will be responsible for providing expert support and training to our accounting teams, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all revenue areas. You will also assist in developing automation of accounting processes and implementing new initiatives across all revenue areas. Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and monitor priorities and goals for the implementation of accounting processes related to new operational projects, ensuring timely and accurate project and task completion.
  • Communicate departmental progress on new initiatives and emerging issues to the director on a regular basis, providing updates and insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Lead meetings to direct teams for task completion related to accounting aspects of new initiatives, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
  • Participate in meetings with Commercial, Hotel Operations, Onboard Revenue, and Information Technology teams to ensure revenue systems are updated to properly record revenues, driving business growth and optimization.
  • Coordinate end-to-end testing and develop test plans and scenarios for system changes, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Ensure processes are implemented to record revenues and expenses in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policy, maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity and compliance.
  • Drive the development of workflow and system enhancements, designing management reporting that incorporates appropriate controls and ensures accurate and timely financial output.
  • Provide training and support to relevant teams, promoting the Core Values and communicating timely to management, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a proven track record of success in revenue accounting and financial management.
  • Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), with a strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Experience evaluating and improving financial processes, with a focus on automation, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of computerized accounting systems, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and drive business insights.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Management experience, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving business results.
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment, with a strong ability to self-motivate and work independently.
