About the Role
We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a Residential Group Home CBRF Manager to lead our Jefferson Program in Brookfield, WI. As a Residential Manager, you will provide oversight and management for the day-to-day operations of our group home, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support to the individuals we serve. Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight for the day-to-day operations of the assigned group home, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support to the individuals we serve.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers, stakeholders, and other parties to ensure seamless collaboration and support.
- Develop and support the knowledge, skills, and abilities of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to fulfill current and future job responsibilities.
- Lead the hiring process for new staff members, ensuring the selection of highly qualified and compassionate individuals.
- Train new Direct Support staff members, providing effective onboarding and transition support.
- Schedule direct support staff within budget parameters to support operations and quality outcomes.
- Address basic performance issues, complete performance evaluations, and establish goals and development plans for DSPs.
- Manage client funds, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the group home.
- Coordinate client medical appointments, communicate appointment outcomes, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Participate in the on-call rotation, providing support and guidance as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with a post-secondary degree or certification preferred.
- One to three years of related work experience, with previous supervisory experience preferred.
- A valid driver's license with a driving record that meets St. Coletta's standards.
- Strong organizational skills, efficient time management, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships and motivate others.
