Job Overview and Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Software Developer to join our team, focusing on the maintenance and expansion of our flagship Fault Detection and Classification (FDC) product. This mature yet continuously evolving software is designed for the semiconductor manufacturing industry and consists of a single code base that generates four distributed components and over 250 communication DLLs. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for:

• Learning and understanding our software to appreciate how our customers utilize it and identifying areas for improvement

• Implementing new features using C++ and ensuring seamless integration with the current code base

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related technical field
• At least 3 years of experience working in the semiconductor manufacturing industry, focusing on data acquisition and analysis projects
• 3+ years of experience in writing engineering code, with a strong proficiency in C++ and Object-Oriented Design
• Demonstrated ability and passion for programming, with a keen interest in solving real-world problems through software development
• Experience with multi-threaded applications using the ownership model, and familiarity with MFCs (or the willingness to learn)
• Knowledge of databases and experience working with them
