Job Overview

As a Warehouse Worker and Driver at Workwarp, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and delivery services. You will be responsible for driving company trucks, vans, and forklifts, making material and equipment deliveries to job sites, and assisting with the loading of roofs. You will also be responsible for maintaining the appearance of our warehouse, including clearing aisles, walkways, and ensuring that materials are properly organized. Additionally, you will be required to perform office cleaning tasks and organize materials in the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive company trucks, vans, and forklifts (22' and 18" automatic flatbed, non-CDL) to make material and equipment deliveries to job sites
  • Assist with the loading of roofs and ensure that all deliveries are made in a safe and timely manner
  • Load trucks for delivery and unload vehicles, putting materials and equipment into stock properly
  • Maintain the appearance of the warehouse, including clearing aisles, walkways, and ensuring that materials are properly organized
  • Perform office cleaning tasks and organize materials in the warehouse
  • Be flexible and available to work two shifts (5am to 1:30 pm and 9am to 5:30pm) with overtime available
  • Be prepared to learn any and all aspects of jobs assigned by the management team or foreman as necessary for job completion
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure the benefit of all and contribute to a positive and productive work environment

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following essential qualifications:

  • Experience in the construction industry or working in a warehouse environment
  • Practiced in driving trucks with up to 24' beds, automatic, non-CDL
  • Willingness to be trained and operate a forklift in accordance with company policy
  • Ability to climb up and down ladders and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Hard working and punctual individual with a strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction
  • Ability to collaborate with the team and contribute to a positive and productive work environment

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset:

  • Previous experience working in a logistics or delivery environment
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control procedures
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $24.00 to $28.00 per hour, depending on experience. In addition to your salary, you will also be eligible for a range of benefits, including:
