Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

  • Providing advice on cultural awareness of financial issues related to finance, ensuring that all financial operations are conducted with sensitivity and awareness of diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Performing complex tasks related to account management, creation of financial statements, and administrative records, utilizing your expertise in financial accounting and analysis.
  • Collecting and reviewing financial information for financial and management reporting, ensuring that all data is accurate, complete, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Verifying accounts and preparing and reviewing audits, applying your knowledge of accounting principles and internal control policies to ensure the integrity of financial data.

  • Carrying out regular financial checks by the internal control policy, ensuring that all financial operations are conducted in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Have at least two years of experience in finance, accounting, analytics, financial reporting, business reporting, or risk reporting, or a combination of education, employment, military, or volunteer experience.
  • Have a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and internal control policies.
  • Be a certified public accountant (CPA) or have a related certification, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to the field of accounting.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • At least two years of SEC/quarterly regulatory experience, with a strong understanding of Fiserv and the implementation of COSO-based Sarbanes-Oxley internal control assessments.
  • Experience in military intelligence or analysis, including operations management, project management, change management, and financial management.
  • Knowledge of the credit card industry, with at least one year of experience in product/credit market analysis.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with intermediate Essbase/Smartview, VLOOKUP/Pivot Table experience.
  • Experience with ledger orchestration and automation tools, with a strong understanding of accounting and financial systems.
  • Independent decision-making and creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and understand barriers in complex matrix domains.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP financial statements and instruments, with the ability to convert and draft complex data into understandable and effective reports and recommendations.
