Job Overview

We are seeking highly motivated and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Customer Service Representatives. In this role, you will be responsible for responding to incoming calls, chats, and emails, as well as making outbound calls to customers regarding their FSA loan servicing. You will be required to work from the comfort of your own home, with the option to work onsite for up to one week. Our comprehensive training program will ensure that you have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide exceptional customer service and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat, providing timely and effective solutions to their problems
  • Utilize computerized systems to track customer interactions, gather information, and troubleshoot issues
  • Process requests and notate customer accounts accordingly
  • Support Contact Center expectations, departmental policies, and corporate procedures
  • Maintain regular use of feedback tools to give and receive constructive feedback on call quality and department tasks
  • Assist with Credit Bureau Requests and refer escalated calls or inquiries to appropriate levels as needed

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with at least 6 months of customer service experience
  • Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic math and PC skills, including MS Office applications
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to organize simultaneous tasks
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required
  • Available to support all FSA programs via reassignment between programs, as needed

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset:

  • Previous experience working in a customer service environment, preferably in a remote setting
  • Knowledge of Federal Student Aid loan servicing and related programs
  • Experience with computerized systems and software applications
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
