Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Branch Customer Service and Sales Representative to join our team in Grand Junction, CO. As the face of our branch, you will provide exceptional customer service, promote blithequark products and services, and participate in office events to generate revenue and improve member awareness. Key Responsibilities
- Provide a high level of support services to members related to sales and service functions, including servicing insurance policies, processing applications, renewals, and amendments, and selling travel, tours, airline tickets, and membership products
- Generate leads, update members on travel and insurance specials, and provide travel information
- Provide cashiering services to members, including taking insurance payments, travel and membership payments, and processing remittance/depository transfers
- Respond to customer inquiries and refer to agents when appropriate
- Provide administrative support to Travel and Insurance Agents during peak periods
- Conduct outbound promotional calls for insurance and/or travel products
- Participate in a team environment to promote customer satisfaction and consistent service following the customer service model
- Receive and resolve member/customer complaints and seek assistance from management in complaint resolution as necessary
- Participate in office events developed to generate revenue, improve member awareness of products, and support local community activities
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An active State Property & Casualty License or the ability to attain within 90 days of start date
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience providing high-level customer-focused service, servicing insurance policies, and processing applications, renewals, and amendments
- Knowledge of insurance and travel terminology, general insurance and/or travel regulations, underwriting procedures, and sales regulatory and compliance guidelines
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with others in a work environment and perform mathematical calculations to accurately perform monetary transactions
- Experience working in a team environment and exceeding customer expectations relating to professionalism of demeanor, efficient and effective customer service, and maintenance of workstation and office facility
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience working in a fast-paced customer service environment
- Knowledge of Travel Systems (e.g., Focal Point, Viewpoint, ITT, AXIS, etc.) and/or Insurance Systems (e.g., PPS, POS, IMS, IPM) and/or membership systems
- Experience with computer software applications (Word, Excel, etc.) and web-based operations

Work Environment
This is an in-office position, and you will be based on site in a blithequark branch facility. You will work in a fast-paced customer service environment and may be required to work irregular hours, including holidays and weekends.
